But ideally would be a way to actually have Sonos be given a One Drive login / folder, and have it stream directly from the cloud - without a hard drive in-between.
The Sonos looks at the NAS and plays music from it. I have a NAS storing loads of music on a One Drive folder (that is downloads and keeps on the network for me). I was really hoping to find a way of streaming to Sonos. Their website - says Sonos is supported, but I think that means that Mac app (only) has an Airplay selector built in. But more importantly, you can't actually play straight to Sonos from it as the post was suggesting.
You can't actually manage the music in the cloud as you could a One Drive or Dropbox. but I'm left thinking - what on earth is the point of Vox? Firstly, their new universal app doesn't show any music in your library, so you have to use this basic uploader.
